Tuesday - Tune In & Teaser

When The Lights Go Down In the City by Journey
If you work in retail, my heart goes out to you. Holiday is not the worst time of the year for customer service people . . . it is the time right after. When we get these stray people who seem to think if they yell and scream and throw a fit, we will miraculously change the corporation's store policies to suit their needs. Instead of trying to be civil and/or being aware of the return policies, they choose to be hateful and ruin everyone else's day. Sorry, tough day.
This song was in my head when I got home.

"Here we had this incredible tool at our disposal with the Internet. We had search. We had wikis. We had all the social networking tools. We had micro-lending and personalized charity. But poverty wasn't going away. If anything, the internet was widening the gap between rich and poor."

Interesting take. Fortunately, anyone, poor or rich, can access the Internet at their public library. That helps lessen the gap a bit. Thanks for sharing. My teaser is here.

Oh I hate return season- just yesterday I think I had my worse day of the "season" when a guy actually cussed me and shoved his receipt in my face all over a half price candle...people need to chill..we work there..we dont make the rules! great song choice by the way
