That would make me crazy. It's so inconsiderate. When I was working retail, I just wanted to get home at the end of the day and found it very difficult to be nice to customers like that.
Wow, big brass balls! Guess they got the one-on-one personalized service they were after, didn't they? And, unfortunately, there's not a blasted thing you can do about it.
That happens all the time in my store. It's like they wait until 5 minutes before closing and then all come in. It makes me very aware of what time stores close, and I will never walk in if I only have five minutes.

Next time you should tell them that the store is closing and have someone announce it every 10 minutes :0)

I hate that! It happens to my husband daily!! People know they are about to close but they just don't care.
