Lasik is *awesome!* I got my eyes done 8 years ago -- no regrets. It's amazing to wake up and see the alarm clock clearly. You'll LOVE it.

I want to get mine done but I am scared, and I have reasons why I am scared. Good luck :)

Love my lasik that I had done 10 years ago. It's the best!!! And i can't wait to see Eat Pray Love, too!

I'm excited to see that too.

My cousin had Lasik and it was so nice!

The glasses smooshing into the side of your head while reading in bed is the worst part about wearing them.

That movie looks so good. My husband wants to get his eyes done.
Praying for you.

I've pondered LASIK too...it'd be nice to be able to see and you're totally right about reading in bed..

I CANNOT wait for Eat, Pray, Love...I'm already anticipating going to see it more than once :0)

Hope all is well. I'll be praying.

We should all go to the movie the same night! Then twitter about it!

I am oh, so, jealous! I would love to have Lasik done...but I am the biggest scaredy cat around! Maybe one day I'll muster up the courage!

I would love love LOVE to get laser surgery on my eyes. I'm sure I would be a good candidate BUT it always comes down to $$$ :)

Someday...someday

I would love to get Lasik too. My eyes aren't that bad though, so I can't quite justify it. Plus all of the down time scares me (I work with computers). Good luck and I hope it goes well!

I'm so excited about Eat Pray Love. Julia Roberts is the perfect part!

I would love to get it done! My dad just had it done and it's just so awesome!

I hear you about bedside manner, I worked for surgeons and one was excellent but his bedside manner not so much. Some couldn't get past that and you have to be comfortable with them!

I can't wait to see that also!

Paid $2500 to get LASIK done 10 years ago. I would have paid much, much more in a heartbeat. It is SO worth every penny.

I can't even imagine. That would be so wonderful. I can't see anything at all without my contacts or glasses in.
