My mom and I went to the Creating Keepsakes convention recently. I look forward to it every year, though I have a room full of projects that I still have yet to finish. I honestly, could probably hold the convention at my place. I try not to focus on it too much, but every year I get sucked into it and attend at least a couple classes.
I love it. A complete day of crafting with all other people who craft too. They think like me - want things to be pretty and perfect. They act like me - we don't cut in line and we share. And they're friendly as can be - unless you break one of the unspoken rules. (smirk)
I have been having the worst allergies lately, so I struggled the entire day. I felt behind and my stuff wouldn't stay together. A little frustrating, but with my mom, I couldn't help but have fun.
A few pictures of the projects we did and some I wish we had done -
Probably my favorite photo of the day though is the following because it exemplifies what happens to a convention center when women overtake it.

That was SO much fun! Makes me want to glue something together and put glitter on it! ;-)
